Registration is now open! Join us for the 2024 NBU Summer Basketball Camp! The camp is available for a total of 6 weeks beginning Monday, June 17th - Friday August 2nd for boys and girls currently in the 3rd - 12th grades. There will be no camp offered 4th of July week (July 1st - 5th).
The camp operates daily Monday thru Friday of each week from 9:00am to 2:30pm, with options to extend the camp day from 8:00am (Free Throw Camp), and end at 3:00pm (Specialty Clinic). Options to extend the camp day require an additional fee.
The registration link provides the option for you to register for any or all weeks that work for your child(ren)'s schedule, and or options to select portions of the camp day (i.e, you may have your child attend the Free Throw Camp, regular Camp Day and or the Specialty Clinic).
The facility in which the NBU summer camp was held in 2023 (the CSO Sportsplex located at 1301 E. 47th street) with 2 full courts, 6 baskets and a shooting machine in which to operate the NBU camp, closed at the end of summer in 2023 and is not currently available for use. As such, the 2024 NBU summer camp will be held at the Benton House gym which is located at 3034 S. Gratten Avenue in Chicago. The Benton House gym houses only 1 court with 2 baskets.
Due to the limited capacity of the Benton House gym, we have to strictly limit the number of registered campers for each week of the NBU summer camp. As such, we highly encourage you to be timely in clicking the link to place your registration as we expect the camp openings to fill up quickly. Once the registrations for any week meets capacity, the registration will close for that specific week.
Also please note that due to the capacity limitations, full day only participation is being offered, and half day morning or afternoon participation is unavailable.
You may opt to register now and pay later (however, all camp fees are required to be paid on or before the first day of camp for the week/s in which your child is registered).
The fee for the regular camp day (9:00am to 2:30pm) is $300 per week. The fee for the options to extend the camp day are $50 per week each for the Free Throw Camp and the Specialty Clinic.
